Barnet Football Club Chairman Tony Kleanthous has provided an update on the club’s search for a new manager.
The Bees have begun the recruitment process for a new manager after Martin Allen resigned on Thursday.
Speculation about the identity of the new manager has been rife and the club have been astounded by the response and the unprecedented number of applications.
Commenting on the speculation, the Chairman said: “We have great facilities, a bit of money to spend, a good squad and solid foundation.
“The appointment has to be the right one and I don’t want to rush but overall we are in good shape and need to build on the field to match the facilities off the field.”
Barnet Football Club are not looking to rush the appointment and are accepting CVs.
