Watson – “We believe in the manager.”

“All the boys are staying positive.
We feel that if we keep putting in the work, the results with turn for us.”
“We’re training day in, day out to improve.
Off the pitch we’re watching videos of past games to see where we’ve gone wrong.
We’re staying positive and together as a group.”
“It’s a good group here. The manager believes in us and we believe in the manager.”
The goal for the team is to finish the season on a high note and rectify recent performances.
“We want to finish the season strong and take that positivity into next season.
We’re taking every game as it comes, we want to win every game.”
Unavailable this weekend, Watson touched on the extent of his injury.
“I had a little bit of swelling in my knee, but it’s not too bad.
Once the swelling comes out, hopefully it will only be a couple of weeks until I’m back.”
Watson is fully behind the club’s emphasis on promoting youth in the next few games, highlighting the importance of game time for younger players.
“It’s good that the young lads are getting their chance.
We have a good mix in the group – you need a balance of the experienced lads to pull us through, and young lads to bring the energy and enthusiasm.”
“Let’s hope the fans get behind us and appreciate what we’re trying to achieve long term at the club.”
