Yiadom Relishing Hayes & Yeading Return

Andy Yiadom is looking forward to taking on his former club in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
The wing-back spent one season with Hayes & Yeading United during time which he made 36 league appearances.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s match, which will be played at Woking’s Kingfield Stadium, the 21-year-old said he was looking forward to facing his former employers.
“It should be a good game against a good team so I’m looking forward to getting out there.
“It’s also always nice to go back to your old club so that’s another thing for me to look forward to.”
Yiadom continued by explaining that it won’t be easy for the Bees despite playing in a higher tier than their opponents.
“We have a good side and even though they’re in the division below it will be a tough game.
“We won’t take them for granted and we will play a strong side that play to the best of their ability.
He added: “If we do make changes the squad is very strong and whoever comes in will be more than cable of doing a job.”
In six FA Trophy matches time the Bees could be preparing to make the short trip to Wembley and Yiadom is expecting the Bees to reach the latter stages of the competition.
“The competition is a great opportunity to get to Wembley so we will be taking it very seriously.
“We intend to win every game to get to the final and that is exactly what we’re going to do.”
He also explained that it will be nice to take some focus away from the Skrill Premier following a difficult, injury ridden couple of months for the team.
“It will be nice to focus on something else because the games come thick and fast in the Conference.
“That said we won on Tuesday so if we win again we will be building some key momentum heading into an important festive period.”
