Barnet FC is delighted to announce the signing of Zak Brunt from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee.
Â
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder spent last season on loan at National League side Boreham Wood. He made 43 National League appearances for The Wood helping them to secure a play-off spot.
Â
Whilst with Sheffield United, Brunt also had loan spells with Southend United and Notts County.
Â
Brunt made two senior appearances for Sheffield United, both in the League Cup.
Â
Barnet FC Manager Dean Brennan said: “I’m delighted to get Zak over the line!
Â
“He is a young, talented and hungry attacking midfielder. He had a great season on loan at Boreham Wood and brings even more speed and quality to our squad.”
Â
Zak Brunt added: “I spoke to Connor Smith and the gaffer. He told me his plans and how he thought I would fit into the system; I just wanted to get it (the deal) done.”
Â
The deal is subject to the usual regulatory processes.
